Why Indian lemongrass specifically
India is one of the world's largest producers of lemongrass oil, and its tropical growing conditions favour the high citral content that gives lemongrass its signature lemony sharpness. Lemongrass has a long history of everyday use across South and Southeast Asia, both as a culinary herb and in traditional wellness practices. How this differs from other "lemongrass oil" on the market
- Real distillation vs. synthetic citral. Because citral (lemongrass's key aroma compound) is inexpensive to produce synthetically, some "lemongrass oil" is a lab reconstruction rather than a true plant distillation. Ours is steam-distilled from real Cymbopogon leaf, which carries a fuller, grassier complexity that synthetic citral alone doesn't replicate.
- Not stretched with citronella. Lemongrass and citronella are related grasses with a similar aroma profile, and cheaper products sometimes blend the two. Ours is 100% lemongrass.
- Not diluted. Ours is 100% undiluted essential oil, nothing added after distillation.
What "pure essential oil" actually means
Pure means exactly one thing: this bottle contains only steam-distilled lemongrass oil — nothing else. No carrier oil, no synthetic reconstruction, no fragrance additives. Because it's a real agricultural extract, you may notice small, natural variations in scent intensity between harvests — a sign of authenticity, not inconsistency.

Is lemongrass oil the same as citronella oil?
Related but not identical — they're both aromatic grasses with a similar lemony profile, but different species. Some budget products blend the two; this bottle is 100% lemongrass.
Can I apply this directly to my skin?
Not undiluted. Mix 2–3 drops with a teaspoon of carrier oil first — lemongrass is a stronger oil and can irritate skin if applied neat.
Which diffuser pairs best with this oil?

Is this safe for pets?
