Why Australian eucalyptus specifically
Eucalyptus globulus, the "blue gum" eucalyptus, is native to Australia and remains the most studied and widely used eucalyptus species for its high concentration of 1,8-cineole — the compound responsible for its clean, penetrating scent. Growing it in its native environment produces the strong, consistent cineole profile the species is known for. How this differs from other "eucalyptus oil" on the market
- Globulus vs. citriodora. A lot of budget "eucalyptus oil" is actually Eucalyptus citriodora (lemon eucalyptus) — a different species with a lemony, much lower-cineole profile, sold under the same generic name. Ours is true Eucalyptus globulus.
- Not a synthetic cineole blend. Because 1,8-cineole can be produced synthetically or extracted from other cheaper plants (like rosemary), some "eucalyptus oil" is a reconstruction rather than a genuine distillation. Ours is steam-distilled from real eucalyptus leaf.
- Not diluted. Ours is 100% undiluted essential oil, nothing added after distillation.
What "pure essential oil" actually means
Pure means exactly one thing: this bottle contains only steam-distilled eucalyptus oil — nothing else. No carrier oil, no synthetic reconstruction, no fragrance additives. Because it's a real agricultural extract, you may notice small, natural variations in scent intensity between harvests — a sign of authenticity, not inconsistency.
Ways to use it
Diffuser
3–5 drops per 100ml of water, or 20–30 drops in the Siphon Nebulizer — good for a stuffy room or a morning reset.
Steam Inhalation
1–2 drops in a bowl of hot (not boiling) water, drape a towel over your head, and breathe deeply for a few minutes. Not recommended for young children.
Lava Stone
Drop 3–5 drops onto lava stones for 24–48 hours of passive, electricity-free fragrance.
Topical
Dilute 2–3 drops per teaspoon of carrier oil before applying to chest or back. Always patch test first.

Is this the same as the "eucalyptus oil" I've seen elsewhere?
